We invite you to come and experience The Aloes Farm accommodation, which is stylish, upmarket country-living at its best! Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway with loved ones, attending a wedding in the area, visiting your children at one of the many schools on our doorstep, participating in a local sporting event, or under-going outpatient treatment at the Hilton Life Hospital, our beautifully appointed cottages on our tranquil property will ensure your stay is more than just a bed. One of the features that makes one feel you truly are ‘getting away’ when you stay at The Aloes Farm, is the 2.5 km gravel district road. We love that we live in the country and yet are a few minutes’ drive from the Hilton Life Hospital or the variety of shops and restaurants in the village!
Pet friendly
The Aloes Farm is a pet-friendly space, and guests are welcome to bring their pets with them. We charge a once-off cleaning fee for our four-legged guests and provide a ‘pet box’ to help settle them in their new environment. The cottages are enclosed with electric fencing that will contain all but the smallest and most determined escapee, and there is ample space in the gardens and the fields beyond for pets to exercise and play.
No Load shedding
We are not subject to load-shedding here at The Aloes Farm. We are fortunate to be connected to a priority Eskom electricity line, so can offer our guests constant power even under load-shedding conditions. So, if you are frustrated by load-shedding in your area or need a place to work in peace, The Aloes Farm is a wonderful opportunity for that mid-week break or weekend getaway.
Safe
Although crime is a reality in South Africa, the D494 district has a remarkedly low incidence of crime and residents will attest to the general sense of safety and security that we enjoy, which means that guests can relax with a peace of mind. Furthermore. there is a private boom gate that operates on the D494 district road at night to monitor traffic, which adds to the general security of the area.
